Videos by American Songwriter

Bob Dylan’s Bootleg Series Vol. 9 The Witmark Demos will come with a special bonus disc for those who purchase it on Amazon.com: a May 10th, 1963 concert from Brandies University which was previously unknown to actual bootleggers. The tape of the show was discovered in the archives of music critic and Rolling Stone co-founder Ralph Gleason, and contains three talking blues and four Dylan classics.

Here’s the track listing:

“Honey Just Allow Me One More Chance” (Incomplete)
“Talkin’ John Birch Paranoid Blues”
“The Ballad of Hollis Brown”
“Masters of War”
“Talkin’ World War Three Blues”
“Bob Dylan’s Dream”
“Talkin’ Bear Mountain Picnic Massacre Blues”

Rolling Stone reports that a documentary on the legendary 1975/76 Rolling Thunder Review concerts, and a DVD of Dylan’s series of gigs in 1993 at New York’s Supper Club are in the planning stages.
