Local punk rock outfit Thelma and the Sleaze performed at East Nashville’s Family Wash on May 2 as part of American Songwriter’s “Discover” series. In partnership with ReverbNation CONNECT, the “Discover” series aims to highlight emerging artists in the area by hosting concerts the first Monday of every month. Performing their original song “Be Greedy,” Thelma and the Sleaze shared the bill with singer-songwriter Lilly Hiatt and garage rocker Ron Gallo.

Watch “Be Greedy” here, and be sure to RSVP for our next “Discover” show, featuring Cale Tyson, Rick Brantley and Jack Berry.

Song Premiere: Sara Watkins, “Without a Word”
