Joan Jett is one bad mamajama!

The leather-clad Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has contributed some of the most imporant stadium-rocking songs in the history of American music (as you’ll see below in spades).

For the 63-year-old Pennsylvania-born Jett, music was a necessity. She got her first guitar, even when the salesperson tried to dissuade her from buying electric, and she didn’t look back.
