Wake Up Bonnaroo, Mr. West Is Fuming!

Kanye’s blog is updated, complete with 2’s instead of to’s, misspellings, overused punctuation marks and witty criticisms along the lines of “squid brains.” Ugh, maybe that’s all that needs to be said. But if you’re interested, he is also coming up with quite a few excuses for his poor Bonnaroo performance… Pearl Jam took too long, Bonnaroo staff wouldn’t let him unpack earlier than the other performers, the stage was slippery…

If you’ve been in Borneo for the couple weeks or so and haven’t kept up on your music news, Kanye West showed up at his Bonnaroo performance at 4:25 a.m. for a show that was originally scheduled at 2:45 that morning. Fans threw bottles, cracking Mr. West’s screen backdrops, they booed, and after his performance, THESE lovely port-o-potties sported their own witty West criticisms.

Anyways, when the Bonnaroo backlash came in as well as the reports of the unhappy campers there, Kanye’s milk curdled and THIS well-worded gem surfaced. Jesus walks, Kayne, calm down. He did manage to put an “I’m sorry” in his blog… followed closely by a gripping account of how he has to ice his knees after performances. For serious though, Kanye’s upset and he’s sorry and not being able to “GIVE THESE FANS ‘STRONGER’ IN IT’S GREATEST FORM… BROKE [his] HEART.” Well Kanye, maybe fans will be moved by your blog enough to simulate their own “Stronger” glow-in-the-dark dance parties themselves. But then again, maybe not.
