On December 7, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band gathered in front of 60 people at the run-down Carousel House in Asbury Park, New Jersey, for a special concert of songs from The Promise, his new album containing leftover tracks from Darkness On The Edge Of Town. It was, as Rolling Stone reports, “one of the toughest tickets in Springsteen history.”

It was a TREMENDOUS SHOW! I would have liked to hear all the material he did at the original run through but what was released shows Bruce and the band AT THEIR BEST!
