CBS has offered up a few sneak preview clips of the upcoming special Ringo & Friends at The Ryman, which premieres Monday, March 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. As previously reported, the two-hour special features highlights from two star-studded, country-themed concerts Ringo Starr played in January at the famous Nashville venue the Ryman Auditorium.

The shows, which took place on January 14 and 15, celebrated the release of the legendary Beatles drummer’s new solo country album, Look Up. The concerts featured performances of selections from Look Up, as well as country-flavored versions of other songs from Starr’s solo career and tunes he sang with The Beatles.
The Ryman shows featured Ringo joined by various guest artists, as well as some performers singing Starr and Beatles songs without Ringo.
One of the preview clips, which you can check out on CBS’ YouTube channel, features Starr and Sheryl Crow singing Ringo’s 1971 solo hit “It Don’t Come Easy.” Country star Mickey Guyton and Grammy-winning bluegrass artist Molly Tuttle also help with backing vocals.

Another preview clip features Jack White playing the Ringo-penned 1968 Beatles tune “Don’t Pass Me By.” A third clip offers a sneak peek at bluegrass star Billy Strings delivering a rocking version of rockabilly great Carl Perkins’ 1957 tune “Honey Don’t,” which Starr and the Fab Four covered in 1964.
CBS also shared a preview of the special’s star-packed finale performance of the Beatles classic “With a Little Help from My Friends.” For the song, Ringo was joined by all of the guest performers.

Other stars who performed at the “Ringo & Friends” Ryman concerts included Emmylou Harris, Jamey Johnson, Brenda Lee, Rodney Crowell, Sarah Jarosz, Larkin Poe, and The War and Treaty.
Besides the concert performances, the special will feature Starr discussing how country music has influenced his life, as well as The Beatles’ music and his own solo work. Various guest artists also will be featured talking about the impact Ringo and The Beatles have had on their music.
Ringo & Friends at the Ryman was produced by T Bone Burnett, who produced Look Up and wrote or co-wrote most of the songs on the album.
In addition to airing on CBS, the Ringo & Friends at the Ryman special will stream on Paramount+.
More About the Look Up Album
As previously reported, Look Up is an 11-track country project that was released on January 10. Burnett produced the album, and wrote or co-wrote nine of the songs. Starr, meanwhile, teamed up with his longtime studio engineer, Bruce Sugar, to co-write the closing track, “Thankful.” That tune features guest vocals by lauded country/bluegrass artist Alison Krauss.
Look Up also features several other guest artists, including Billy Strings, Tuttle, Lucius, and Larkin Poe. In addition, Starr’s brother-in-law, Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, contributed slide guitar to song called “Rosetta.”
Ringo Starr’s 2025 Tour Plans
Ringo has a variety of 2025 U.S. concerts lined up with his All Starr Band in 2025. Starr and the group will kick things off with a June tour leg running from a June 12 show in Bridgeport, Connecticut, through a June 25 performance in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Ringo and the All Starrs also have a September 13 appearance scheduled at the Bourbon & Beyond festival in Louisville, Kentucky. That will be followed by a six-date Las Vegas residency at The Venetian theater plotted out from September 17, to September 27.
