The broadcast, which will also showcase Western swing staples Asleep at the Wheel, will feature seven performances from Simpson and his band, including a cover of Steven Fromholz’s “I’d Have to Be Crazy,” a song made famous by Willie Nelson.

In advance of the show’s broadcast, Austin City Limits has released two songs from the performance, “Life of Sin” and the bluegrass classic “Listening to the Rain,” the latter of which features an interpolation of T. Rex’s “The Motivator.”
