Acoustic Café will celebrate its 1000th week at SXSW by partnering with SongCraft Presents for The Subway Sessions, which will feature artists Elizabeth & The Catapult, A.J. Croce, Sage Francis, Turin Brakes, Matt the Electrician and Blackie & The Rodeo Kings. Musicians will write songs on the spot and then record them live in the studio.

On Saturday, March 15, Rob will join musician Ben Arthur of SongCraft Presents for a SXSW official panel, where they will discuss their week of songwriting collaborations, the new creative demands on modern artists, as well as feature the participating artists as they perform their new songs. The panel will be held at 12:30 in Room 16AB of the Austin Convention Center, and you can follow the sessions throughout the week @AcafeRadio, @SongCraftTV and #SXSubway.

Tune in and stream the show each week at www.acafe.com, and connect on Facebook and Twitter.
