Wilco (the News Story)

We’ve told you a lot about Wilco the band’s upcoming 7th LP, including the fact that in contains “Wilco (The Song)” a meta-textual good times rocker first debuted on The Colbert Report.

We’ve hipped you to the track list, and the fact that the album contains a collaboration with Feist called “You and I.” We’ve told you how you can see the band on tour, which Conor Oberst will open select dates for.

So it seems only natural that we update you about the new albums name, which has long been a mystery. In case you hadn’t heard, Wilco’s new album will be called Wilco (The Album), and will be out on Nonesuch in June. “Wilco, Wilco will love you baby….”
