Nashville-based Southern rockers The Steel Woods make their debut to the world this Friday with the release of Straw In The Wind.
“We’ve had a vision for this album for over two years now and it’s always been about retaining our artistic integrity,” the band told American Songwriter. “We could not be more proud of how the album turned out and the sound we were able to hone in on. Our sound is very much soaked in southern culture even though our influences range from Led Zeppelin and Metallica to Darrell Scott and Jason Isbell. This being our introduction to the world, we feel this album truly represents who we are as musicians, songwriters and artists. We can’t wait to continue bringing our music to the fans.”
