3-D Phish: Coming To A Theater Near You

Phish fans, get ready to have your mind blown (again). The band has put together their first 3-D movie, culled from their three-day Festival 8 performance in Indio, California, last October. That show featured their Halloween Eve electrifying run-through of the Rolling Stones’ double album Exile on Main Street, with help from Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings.

Tickets for Phish 3D go on sale tomorrow, March 26.  The film will debut in select cities, namely Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Washington, D.C., Raleigh and Burlington, Vermont, starting April 20 (hmmm, now what’s the significance behind that date?) The rest of the country will be able to check it out on April 30th. But don’t dilly-dally — the movie will only be in theaters for one week.

After that, you’ll have to wait until the summer to see the band in 3-D; that’s when they’ll next go on tour.
