The winner of Nashville indie artist Trent Dabbs’ “Leave To See” video contest has been revealed; Craig Landino of Landino Media, who topped the Most Creative category. Perhaps it was the adorable bird costume or the small hand on the rainy windowpane, but this video won the heart of its music maker, Trent Dabbs.
The production opens with a little girl staring out the car window. “There’s lots of animals that I love, but I’ve only ever dreamed of being a bird,” she says. Throughout the rest of the short film, Iris puts her dream into motion by crafting bird suits, darning the wet weather, and running into fields of imagination. All in all, the new music video for “Leave to See” is an endearing interpretation of Southerner’s single.
