Back in 2022, Jelly Roll entered country music when he released “Son of a Sinner” and “Need a Favor.” Not only his debut in the genre, but the song “Son of a Sinner” landed him three CMT Music Awards. He also walked away with the award for New Artists at the CMA Awards. Not remotely slowing down, Jelly Roll released his latest album, Beautifully Broken, back in October. He also kicked off his Beautifully Broken tour, which had the singer traveling all over the United States. And besides getting the chance to share his music with fans, the singer received his first Billboard Music Award, which was presented by one of his friends.

Sharing the moment on Instagram, Jelly Roll looked at the massive crowd waiting for him to walk out. Just soaking in the moment, the singer turned when his friend Ernest walked up. Besides being best friends, Ernest had the honor of presenting the country star with his first Billboard Music Award for Top Hard Rock Song with “’All My Life’ feat. Falling In Reverse.” He said, “Hey, bubba! I know you’ve got a show to play, but you just won yourself your first Billboard Music Award.”

Jelly Roll Feels The Pain And Healing Of His Fans
With both singers embracing, Jelly Roll insisted, “Thank you Ronnie Radke. Thank you to the fans and Falling In Reverse. This was all your brain child, Ronnie. You’re one of the greatest artists that is so under appreciated and I hope this shows the world your credit.” As cameras caught the entire moment, the singer declared, “Rock and roll never died. Rock and roll never forgets either.”
Performing two songs during the Billboard Music Awards, Jelly Roll entertained the crowd of thousands with “I Am Not Okay.” He told the crowd before starting the song, “I see people crying and I see strangers wrapping their arms around them and spreading the love all throughout the building. I can feel the pain, and I can feel the healing happening.”
Continuing his Beautifully Broken Tour, Jelly Roll also performed his hit song “Liar” for the Billboard Music Awards.
