When you’re as well-respected as the Rolling Stones are, you have no trouble getting big names on your side. From fellow musicians to actors, the Stones have connections to much of the entertainment industry. One way they flex those connections? Having huge actors star in their visuals. Check out three times the Stones got big-name actors to play characters in their music videos, below.

“Angry”
One of the Stones’ most recent examples of having a recognizable actor star in their music video is the visual for “Angry,” starring Sydney Sweeney. Ever since Euphoria made waves on HBO, Sweeney has been an in-demand talent in Hollywood. Her sex appeal was on display in the Stones’ music video for “Angry.” Sweeney sings along to the rock anthem while driving through Los Angeles while the band appears on Billboards above her. Though the Stones hail from across The Atlantic, their foothold in the U.S. is strong. This music video is emblematic of their affinity for Americana.
Don’t get angry with me
I never caused you no pain
I won’t be angry with you
But I can’t see straight
“Scarlet”
From one sex symbol to another, our next entry on our list of great Rolling Stones music videos features Paul Mescal. Their visual for “Scarlet” sees the Irish actor dance around his hotel room while reeling over a girl. While his acting ability is certainly on display, his fans likely didn’t hate watching him gyrate around either…
Baby, you excite me
But you talk too much
Won’t stand on a corner
Love you more, oh, yeah
Scarlet, why you wearing my heart on your sleeve
Where it ain’t supposed to be?
“Ride ‘Em On Down”
Lastly on our list of Rolling Stones music videos, we have “Ride ‘Em On Down”. Kristen Stewart takes on the leading role in this visual, playing a devil-may-care driver. Though this video is more vibes than plot, Stewart has no trouble conveying the spirit of this rough-and-tumble track.
I’m a dealin’ man, still dealing, yeah
I’ll gon’ keep on dealing ’til I find myself a bed
I got to stop dealing, I believe I’ll ride ’em on down
Well I done stopped dealing, I believe I’ll ride ’em on down
