Sand In My Boots was certainly geared toward the country music community. However, it also featured some of the biggest names in rap. Notable rappers who took the stage in Gulf Shores were Two Chainz, T-Pain, Wiz Khalifa, Three 6 Mafia, Moneybagg Yo, BigXthaPlug, and several others. Needless to say, there was something there for everyone. And that is partially what made the show such an absolute hit.

Thanks to the location, diverse slate of performers, and overall vibes, the first-ever Sand In My Boots Festival was a massive success. The festival was a sold-out event and hosted roughly 40,000 fans. Furthermore, the grounds featured two main stages that sat right on the Gulf. That being said, there was a lot of ground to cover. Luckily, American Songwriter got to cover some of it, and here are the photos we got.
