Marty Schwartz is the guitar teacher of guitar teachers. So, it makes sense that he went to the guitar stores of all guitar stores and spent quite a bit of time at Guitar Center. When one watches his videos, one can’t help but picture a kid in a candy store, as Schwartz’s excitement is contagiously wonderful, infecting people with his sheer love for music.

Paired with American Songwriter, Marty Schwartz put a lot of work into reviewing guitars, drums, pedals, and anything under the musical sun, Mr. Schwartz put in quite a bit of work. American Songwriter was luckily able to capture some excellent moments on camera, and here are just a few of them.

If you’ve ever watched a Marty Schwartz video, you know he’s a loyal and dedicated music enthusiast. There is nothing the guy doesn’t know about music, and his knowledge extends far beyond the fretboard. Hence, when he went into Guitar Center, he successfully pointed out guitars, drums, pedals, and all of their minor details. Frankly, if you are a bit intimidated by this kind of stuff, then Marty is your man.
Particularly, Mr. Schwartz loved the used guitar section of the store and fully expressed that passion to viewers. Notably, at a Guitar Center, you are allowed to pick up and look at any guitar without assistance. With that in mind, and if you know Marty Schwartz, then you know he was specifically delighted in this section of the store. When perusing the vintage section, Marty picked up a one-and-only used SG that was in incredible shape. As you might imagine, he had quite a bit of fun on the guitar.
Aside from getting to know Marty Schwartz better, hopefully, this article helped you realize that you need to visit Guitar Center. If you are a novice musician or a veteran, it is the place for you. Affordable, expansive, and entertaining are just three of the store’s best elements. Go have a look for yourself sooner rather than later.
