Colt Ford Posts Update From Hospital Bed
Asking for prayers, Colt Ford took to Instagram Sunday (Nov. 10) to share a video of himself looking quite the worse for wear. The country-rap star is wearing a hospital gown, lying in a hospital bed, his entire face swollen.
“Well, hell,” Ford began. “You start feeling better and the devil just don’t stop messing with you.
Ford explained that he fell ill sometime after Jelly Roll welcomed him onstage during a Nov. 7 stop in Indianapolis along the Beautifully Broken Tour.
“the Devil never Sleeps but I am a Child Of God, so the devil can Kick Rocks,” he wrote in the caption.
Back in April, Ford suffered a near-fatal heart attack following a show at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Gilbert, Arizona. The singer was rushed to the intensive care unit at the Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. He was later transferred to the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, where he woke up nearly a week later.
Phoning into The Big D & Bubba Show, Ford revealed the heart attack left him clinically dead twice.
Support From Fans Pours In
Throughout his health sage, Colt Ford has repeatedly thanked fans for the unwavering support they have demonstrated. It seems that is still the case, as his latest post flooded with prayers and well wishes.
“Devil keeps coming because you are One of God’s soldiers,” one Instagram user wrote. “Got you in my prayers my amazing friend! Sending love!”
Another added, “If anyone can rock puffy cheeks it’s you!!”
