With HARDY going on the road with the Jim Bob World Tour, the country singer looked to Koe Wetzel to open for him. Thrilled to get the chance, Wetzel prepared for his first sets over Memorial Day weekend. But when the time came, the singer ended up canceling his performances. Not giving fans a reason other than labeling it a “family medical event”, Wetzel finally offered more details for his absence when he announced the birth of his daughter.

Before sharing the wonderful news, Wetzel kept fans updated on his Instagram Page. Upset over missing his performance with HARDY, he wrote, “Unfortunately, due to a family medical event, I’ve got to get back to Texas. We hate to miss this first weekend of the JimBob World Tour with our brother HARDY, so make sure y’all show Stephen Wilson Jr. and McCoy Moore all the love.” He added, “Hoping to get back out next week and party with y’all in Salt Lake City, Utah. Thanks for understanding. Much love and see you soon. – Koe.”
Well, Wetzel might need a few more weeks off thanks to his new daughter. Posting a picture of Woods Madison Wetzel online, he wrote, “The most beautiful thing these eyes have ever seen. The world is yours Woods Madison Wetzel.”
Koe Wetzel Still Getting The Same Amount Of Sleep
Fans quickly jumped to the comments to share their love for the newest addition to the Wetzel family. “Congrats Man! Life just got better! The best is yet to come! Praying for yall!” Other comments included, “Beautiful. Congratulations to the whole Wetzel family. God bless y’all.”
Koe Wetzel wasn’t the only one sharing news of Woods as his partner, Bailey Fisher, also posted a picture of Woods taking a much-needed nap. She wrote, “Born May 23rd, 6:49am | 5 pounds 11 ounces. My whole heart outside of my body”
With Wetzel spending the last few weeks with his new daughter, he admitted that life changed when he first saw her. “I’m older and wiser, I’m not drinking as much. I had a baby girl last week! She’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever put my eyes on, and she’s an absolute blessing.”
Not turning away from the partying lifestyle, Wetzel joked he still got the same amount of sleep. “I get just about as much sleep now as I was when I was getting f—ed up all the time, so. It balances itself out a little bit.”
