Gaslight Anthem vocalist and guitarist Brian Fallon has released a a new single from his upcoming debut solo album PAINKILLERS, out March 11.
The track, “A Wonderful Life,” finds Fallon channeling his inner Springsteen for a roots-rocking number with lyrics that touch on blue-collar ideals and self-improvement. The song features a punchy chorus, with the hook of “I don’t wanna survive; I want a wonderful life.”
PAINKILLERS was recorded at Taxidermy Studios in Nashville and produced by Butch Walker. Fallon will kick off 2016 with a U.S. tour to support the album, with a world tour to be announced after the release.
