We’re still about a week away from the release of Jason Isbell‘s new LP Something More Than Free, but to tide us over until then, Isbell just shared the album’s title track. The tune is an ode to a blue collar worker who dreams of more than long hours and is one of theĀ album’s standout tracks.

The Dave Cobb-produced album and follow-up to the 2013 critical smash Southeastern hits shelves on July 17, one of the firstĀ releases on the newly implemented Friday release date. The single comes after “24 Frames,” the first song released from the album, which Isbell also debuted at our 30th anniversary party earlier this year.

Listen to “Something More Than Free” below. And if that’s not enough, stream the entire album over at NPR.
