The Beatles are the greatest band of the 20th century, but that doesnโt mean all of their music is particularly kid-friendly. There are a few songs, though objectively great tunes, that maybe arenโt the best for introducing to your soon-to-be-megafan child. However, the following six Beatles songs are some of the very best for kids to get into the Fab Four! Letโs dive in.
1. โShe Loves Youโ
This classic danceable tune from 1964 is a fan favorite among adults who enjoy the โsaferโ era of The Beatlesโ music. Itโs also a huge hit among kids, even today.

It makes sense why. Itโs a sweet, bouncy sort of song that can possess the listener quite easily. Even though pop music has certainly evolved since the 1960s, this particular Fab Four song was pretty revolutionary when it first came out.
2. โTwist And Shoutโ
This Beatles song actually isnโt really a Beatles song at all. It was originally a Phil Medley and Bert Berns classic that the Beatles later covered. Still, they did right by the song, so well that itโs become intrinsically associated with the Fab Four ever since. Itโs also a great call-and-response song.
If youโre looking for kid-friendly Beatles songs that will distract your kiddos with some much-needed movement and dance, this is one to add to the playlist.

3. โDoctor Robertโ
It is rumored that โDoctor Robertโ was an innuendo for the Fab Fourโs drug dealer. However, nothing in the lyrics egregiously alludes to that, and your kid will definitely not stop dancing to this song to critique its deeper meaning like a pint-sized music historian. Itโs a repetitive, danceable song that tends to resonate well with children.
4. โA Hard Dayโs Nightโ
This is such a classic Beatles song. Fans young, old, and new love it today; especially young kids. The lyrics are quite tame, too. If you have a very young child who loves guitar sounds, the opening to โA Hard Dayโs Nightโ is a sensory wonderland.
5. โEverybodyโs Got Something To Hide, Except For Me And My Monkeyโ
Itโs a song about monkeys. What kid wouldnโt love that? โEverybodyโs Got Something To Hide, Except For Me And My Monkeyโ is one of the Beatlesโ more nonsensical songs, and nobody loves nonsensical humor quite like a child. It also has repetitive moments, which kids usually vibe with.
6. โHelter Skelterโ
As long as your kid doesnโt know about the terrible historical associations linked to this song, it is definitely a child-friendly Beatles tune worth putting on. At face level, itโs a song about getting on a slide, sliding down that slide, and running around. It is pure kiddo fodder at its very best. Even adults might be able to get in touch with their inner child when this Fab Four classic comes on.
