Although the album came packed with songs like “Still Learning”, “The Finger” and “Hung Up On You”, Leatherwood admitted that a great deal of songs didn’t make the cut. But trusting the process, the country singer ended up with an album he insisted wasn’t just for himself. “I’ve finally arrived at a project that not just I, but my fans, can be proud of.”

Bryce Leatherwood Wanted To Bring “Natural Beauty” To Debut Album

As for his inspiration, Leatherwood looked back to his own childhood. Growing up in Woodstock, Georgia, the singer channeled the natural beauty around his home to the album. “Growing up in North Georgia surrounded by the mountains, I was always inspired by the natural beauty around me. I really wanted to carry that inspiration into a song that reminded me of home. I’m trying to work on songs that will live longer than I ever will because they connect well with everyone.”

While listening to legendary singers like George Jones, Conway Twitty, and Merle Haggard as a child, Leatherwood noted how his love for country music started thanks to his grandfather. “My grandfather had me working on his farm in Macon, Georgia, while teaching me about classic country and Southern rock. Then, I sang in church and afterwards listened to Conway Twitty songs in my grandfather’s truck.”

With Leatherwood going from the farm to the recording studio, the singer gained high praise for his new album and the song “Hung Up On You.” Looking at the comments, fans wrote, “Bryce Leatherwood reminds me of what Music is supposed to be. I just love everything he does as an artist, not to mention how adorable he is as a person. Much love from Brazil, Bryce!” Another fan added, “Such a breath of fresh air knowing that there are still artists who want to sing COUNTRY music, and do so extremely well like Bryce and this killer song.”
