Eventually finding his way to the stage, Zach Bryan wasted no time making a name for himself as he released albums like American Heartbreak, DeAnn, and his latest, The Great American Bar Scene. Outside of the studio, the country singer traveled the country with his The Quittin’ Time Tour. With less than a decade in the music industry, Bryan proved himself to be one of the next big names in country music, but recently, the hitmaker revealed he was taking a step away from the road and how he took a moment to visit his mother.

Back before Bryan sold out concerts and dominated the airwaves, he was nothing more than an aspiring artist with a mother who loved him dearly. Sadly, in 2016, Bryan’s mother Annette passed away. Although not able to see his stardom grow, the country singer always felt her close by. And before making any major announcement, it seemed he decided to stop by his mother’s grave to have a little conversation.
Sharing a collage of photos on his Instagram, Bryan wrote, “After not being home for a year and a half I drove out to my mothers gravestone in the dead of night a few days back on familiar Oklahoma roads and I came to realize just like in the past, that she never would call me again.”
Zach Bryan Promises “I’ll Hold You Through The Pain”
With no cameras or screaming fans nearby, Bryan found peace in the silence and revealed, “Told her I quit touring because I got accepted to get my masters in Paris next year, I told her I was back in Oklahoma, told her about all my best friends in New York and all the nights we howled with the moon, told her about the immeasurable laughter my band and me have shared these last five years, all the calluses on my finger tips, every tear shed, told her about making it on The Rolling Stone and most importantly told her about porch swinging with my beautiful sister.”
While looking to explore a new chapter in his life, Bryan was sure to thank those who helped him along the way. “Thank you guys for listening to ‘This Worlds a Giant’ last night and thank you to all the people who love me; who have truly carried the weight with me.”
With Bryan looking to travel to Paris to expand his education, the country singer concluded, “Seems that all these Quiet Dreams have gotten much too heavy but I’m home now and I’ll hold you through the pain.”
