3 Artists We Want to Release Albums in 2025

2025 has already promised many highly anticipated releases, but as greedy music fans we can’t help but want more. Many of our favorite artists haven’t released music in a while–years even. We know you can’t rush art, but if we could push a few people into releasing their music soon, it would be the three artists below.

3 Artists We Want to Release Albums in 2025

1. Phoebe Bridgers

Phoebe Bridgers hasn’t released a solo album since 2020. Though she has more recently shared music as part of the supergroup boygenius, we’re desperately hoping for another dose of plaintive pop hits this year.

Bridgers is no stranger to going on a lengthy hiatus in between album cycles. The stint between her first album and her second spanned years as well. Each time she rears her head, she wows her audience with perfectly written diatribes about her life. We have no doubt that her next venture will excite. We hope it comes sooner rather than later.

2. Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has battled Ramsay Hunt syndrome for the last couple of years. When the world first heard of his diagnosis, it wasn’t clear whether or not he would ever make a return to music. Now, following several stellar performances, it seems like Bieber might be primed for a comeback.

There have been rumors flying around that he is indeed back in the studio alongside producer and fellow artist Mk.gee. Though not much is known about what he is working on, we’re sure it will be met with fervor upon its release.

3. Harry Styles

Harry Styles hasn’t released an album since 2022. Given the passion present in his fanbase, they are surely champing at the bit for more music from the former boybander. Styles warned his fans that he would be out of the limelight for a while, but we’re hoping that hiatus is about to come to an end.

Styles toured extensively to promote his latest album, Harry’s House. Because of that, it only stands to reason he would want to take a break before jumping back into things. We’re sure that time away from the studio and stage has given him much to talk about in his songwriting.
