Save their 2025 reunion shows, Liam and Noel Gallagher have spent the worst part of 30-odd years griping. They have agreed on very little publicly, and we can only imagine what we haven’t heard from their stint in Oasis. However, if one thing can unify these brothers, it’s their fervent and mutual hatred for some of their peers. It seems brash insults come standard in the Gallagher family. Find three bands below that united Liam and Noel in hatred over the years.

Radiohead
If there is a spectrum between complete and total fan service and blatant disregard for success, Radiohead trends toward the latter. The band has gone on record to complain about the runaway popularity of “Creep.” It became too mainstream for these alt-rockers. Understandable, but polarizing amongst listeners. Noel once spoke to this fact, asking the band to go ahead and “retire” if they are as fed up with success as they claim to be.
“They’re stuck in the back of limousines, telling you how bored they are being in a group,” Noel once said. “If you don’t enjoy it, retire. Do us all a favor.”
Liam backed up his brother’s comments about Radiohead, albeit turning the nastiness up tenfold. “I think their fans are boring and ugly and they don’t look like they’re having a good time,” the king of tact, Liam, added elsewhere.

Coldplay
Coldplay is polarizing amongst their rock peers for many reasons. Their pop-appealing tones have earned them major mainstream success. Some of their edgier counterparts view this as sell-out behavior. We’re sure Coldplay isn’t too fussed about being one of the most in-demand live acts around with countless hits to boot. At any rate, the Gallaghers have put their two cents in on Coldplay.
“Their music just isn’t for me,” Noel once said. “It’s for people who still live with their mum.” It’s not a particularly colorful insult, but it makes his point clearly and concisely.
Liam recently joined in on the Coldplay hate after the cheating scandal at their concert. At an Oasis reunion show, Liam insisted that they wouldn’t be doing any of that “Snidey f***ing camera sh**, referencing Coldplay’s recent headlines.
Blur
Of all the beefs Oasis has been involved in, the one with Blur is by far the most famous. The Britpop rivals have issued their fair share of pointed comments over the years–though Oasis certainly delivered the lion’s share.
“He’s a boring f***er,” Liam once said of frontman, Damon Albarn. That pretty much sums up the kind of uncomplicated slights the Gallaghers have given the Blur member.
Surprisingly, though, Noel decided to collaborate with Albarn in 2017. He commented on what his younger self would’ve thought about squashing his beef with Blur, saying, “It would depend entirely on what side of the bed I got out of on that day. If you caught me on a good day I’d be like, yeah, I could see that happening…On a bad day, I’d f***ing knife myself in the boll***.”
