3 Country Acts Who Won ‘The Voice’ and Became Wildly Successful

The Voice is an all-around great show for fans, record labels, and aspiring musicians. It’s a way to not only to entertain the masses but also a way to find some of the best talent around the world. In its 26 seasons, the show has produced some incredibly successful and highly commercialized superstars. Some of the names that might ring a bell include Javier Colon, Sawyer Fredericks, and Jermaine Paul. Thanks to the diverse talent The Voice has produced, one genre that has immensely benefited from the show is Nashville’s country music scene.

In the show, there is always a country act or two that turns chairs and steals the hearts of Americans. That being said, the following three country musicians did just that and then some, as they went on to win the show during their respective seasons.

Cassadee Pope

Besides being the most successful country artist on The Voice, Pope is (arguably) the most successful musician to ever be on the show. As a matter of fact, she has made such a name for herself since her Season 3 win that he time on the show is often overshadowed by her current endeavors. That wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for Blake Shelton and The Voice.

Since winning the show in 2012, Pope has garnered six chart-placing songs, a CMT award, and a Grammy nomination. The Grammy nomination made Pope the first-ever artist to receive a nomination following their appearance on The Voice.

Craig Wayne Boyd

Craig Wayne Boyd, with the help of mentor Blake Shelton, became the Season 7 winner of The Voice. Boyd won the show in 2014 and became an overnight success in the world of country music. Additionally, the win helped the single father find his true love. Days after his win and the signing of his recording deal, Boyd met the woman who would become his wife, Taylor Borland.

In addition to Boyd’s romance, he also had three songs appear on the charts. Boyd has gone on to release six albums, with his most recent one being The Early Years Vol. 1, released in 2024.

Danielle Bradbery

After performing and winning 2013’s fourth season of The Voice, Danielle Bradbery became the youngest artist to win the show at the age of 16. At least, until Sawyer Fredericks’ win in Season 8. Mentored by Blake Shelton, Bradbery’s coach described her as “the most important artist to ever walk across The Voice stage.” Shelton’s gut feeling and intuition served the two of them right. In 2013, Bradbery’s win seemingly came as a result of her performance of “Maybe It Was Memphis”.

Following her career-defining moment, Bradbery has gone on to see seven songs appear on the charts. Furthermore, she has also been nominated for ACM’s New Female Artist of the Year award twice.
