Weโve covered the weird, the wild, the controversial, the silly, and the just plain bad. On this list, weโre going to cover the crazy. These four songs have crazy lyrics, crazy instrumentation, or crazy visuals in their bespoke music videos. Letโs take a look at four of the craziest songs of all time!
This is definitely not an exhaustive list, by the way. There are certainly crazier songs out there. But for the sake of keeping things borderline family-friendly, we opted for these four songs on our list.

1. โFlushed From The Bathroom Of Your Heartโ by Johnny Cash
Johnny Cash has rarely shied away from taking the road less traveled when it came to his music. He had no qualms with taking on a more โdarkโ persona in his music, wasnโt afraid to perform live at a prison, and covered a number of genre-bending songs later on in his career. But โFlushed From The Bathroom Of Your Heartโ is legitimately one of the craziest country songs ever, and itโs surprising that it came from the legendary Johnny Cash.
2. โCold Ethylโ by Alice Cooper
Alice Cooper loves making weird, crazy, and shocking music. He ainโt known as the Godfather of Shock Rock for no reason. Still, the song โCold Ethylโ is about as crazy, dark, and strange as it gets. The song follows a manโs romantic relationship with the body of a dead girl named Ethyl, who he keeps preserved in a refrigerator. Pretty dark, no?

3. โTributeโ Tenacious D
On a lighter note, โTributeโ by Tenacious D is crazy in the sense that the music, lyrics, and music video are absolutely wild. Itโs a modern-day โThe Devil Went Down To Georgiaโ, complete with killer guitar shredding and Led Zeppelin references. Itโs not the greatest song in the world, but it is definitely a tribute.
4. โFish Headsโ by Barnes & Barnes
This deep cut from the 1980s will either slap you in the face with nostalgia or just seem crazy, period. This old tune from the comedy group Barnes & Barnes was very popular on the 1980s radio show hosted by the legendary Dr. Demento. In fact, Dr. Demento makes an appearance in the music video. We donโt recommend ingesting any potentially toxic mushrooms before watching the music video for this song.
