“Hell Out of It” is a song about living life to the fullest. Ford fell in love with the song when he heard it for the first time. Now, though, it has a whole new meaning for him and those close to him. Colt Ford on “Hell Out of It”

“Hell Out of It” is more than a comeback single for Colt Ford. It’s a special song with a positive message and his reintroduction to the world after nearly leaving it. However, he had a fairly deep connection to the song before he had his heart attack.

“Cole Taylor, a great songwriter, Georgia boy, and good buddy of mine sent the song to me,” Ford said. “I was like ‘I just love this song.’ But it just took on a completely different meaning to me, honestly, after everything happened. It’s about living your life to the fullest and realizing that we’re not promised tomorrow. That’s what it’s all about, just live the hell out of it, whatever you’ve got to do,” he explained.

Fans who have been paying attention to Ford’s output in recent years may be surprised to see that “Hell Out of It” is a collaboration. However, he said the song called for a second voice and he knew exactly who he wanted to provide that second voice.

“I’ve done a lot less collaborations over the last few years but this record just felt like I wanted to go back to that kind of ‘Ride Through the Country’ kind of stuff,” Ford said. “I got Michael Ray on there who I think is one of the most underrated artists in Nashville. He’s a great singer and a great buddy of mine. He killed that song,” he added.

“Hell Out of It” is a new beginning for Colt Ford. He’s got plenty of new music coming in the near future.
