Back in April 2024, Zach Top hit the airwaves with his debut album Cold Beer & Country Music. Knowing the two things country music fans love, the album received high marks as it featured songs like “Sounds Like the Radio.” And given the success that followed the album, Top decided to hit the road with his Cold Beer & Country Music tour. But outside of the stage and studio, Top remembered the fans who helped him gain stardom. Always willing to give back, the country singer recently surprised fans with a special gift before his concert in Chattanooga.

Even before Top decided to explore a career in country music, fans proved how far they were willing to go to see their favorite performer. Over the years, fans have waited hours, dealt with brutal weather, and even spent thousands to see singers like Taylor Swift in concert. With Top selling out two concerts in Chattanooga, fans started to wait hours before he took the stage.
Knowing his fans had already started to gather for his concert, Top decided to meet them at the door. Not wanting to show up empty-handed, the singer brought a case of beer with him. Although known for his love for country, Top appeared without his signature country look. Instead, he wore Crocs and some sweats. With only a small group of fans waiting, the meeting was definitely a special moment for fans.
Zach Top Truly A Man Of The People
Outside of making sure his fans had enough beer for the concert, Top ended up refunding those at his concert in Mississippi. Although performing the concert, he explained he wanted to give them their money back due to not putting on his best set. “We’re gonna get it sorted out, and we’re gonna get you your money back for tonight’s show, because this is not the kind of show I want to put on. But we’re gonna be back before you know it, and we’re gonna put you on a real show. We just got a couple songs left for you tonight, thank you so much for coming out here, and for making us feel like a million dollars.”
Even with Top climbing the ranks of country music, he always praised fans for making his dreams a reality. “Y’all are the reason I get to do this. So when I can’t do that to the 100% of my ability, it ain’t good enough for me. So, we’re gonna get you all your money back for tonight’s show.”
