When Post Malone decided to record his debut country album, F-1 Trillion, the singer understood the rich history that came with the genre. With that in mind, he decided to collaborate with some of the biggest stars in country music like Blake Shelton, Dolly Parton, Chris Stapleton, Tim McGraw, Morgan Wallen, Hank Williams Jr., and numerous others. Quickly becoming just the latest hit album from Malone, he recently kicked off his Big Ass Stadium tour. And when it came to his first show, he celebrated the moment by bringing out Sierra Ferrell for a special performance of “Never Love You Again.”

On Tuesday, April 29th, Malone walked on stage at the Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. With thousands of fans screaming his name, the singer put on a stellar show that offered fans just a taste of what is to come. For those who have tickets to upcoming concerts for Malone, they are surely excited for their chance to see the rising country star live. But for Salt Lake City fans, they received a special treat when Malone decided to perform “Never Love You Again” with Ferrell.
Welcoming her to the stage, Malone told the crowd, “Ladies and gentlemen, I had the opportunity to bring one of the most beautiful women in the world, and one the most talented people in the entire universe. And we did a song together, maybe some of y’all saw her sing tonight, buy holy f***, she’s a star.” Sounding somewhat nervous, Malone continued, “If I don’t f*** this up, this will go swimmingly. Post Malone Helping Bring New Life To Country Music
While fans in attendance appeared to love the performance from Malone and Ferrell, the song already gained high praise when it first hit airwaves. Looking back at the moment, one fan declared that Malone saved country music. “As a traditional country guy, I gave up on mainstream country over 10 years ago, but this is the real deal! I would have never thought that Post Malone would have released one of the most stone cold country songs of the last decade, much less a killer waltz.”
With Malone helping energize the genre, the country singer will take his tour to states like Michigan, Georgia, New York, Florida, and Oregon. His last show will happen on July 1st when performing at the Oracle Park in San Francisco, California.
