Julia is a journalist and musician based in Pittsburgh, PA. She has a degree in musicology from the University of Bonn and later studied guitar at the University of Oregon. She has performed her own music and as lead guitarist for the band Meeping in the US, Germany, and Japan. She releases music as a solo artist under the name Almost Exactly Like Julia. Julia got her start in journalism as a radio host and reporter. After almost a decade in news journalism, she is now happily writing about all things related to music.
