Career-Spanning Tina Turner Box Set ‘Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll’ Coming This November

Tina Turner died at age 83 earlier this year, but her influence on the music world is immortal. In November, a new career-spanning box set titled Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll will remind everyone why the late Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is an icon.

The new box set will feature all 55 of Turner’s singles. The collection spans more than four decades between 1975 and 2023 and highlights the evolution of Tina’s voice and musical output. The collection will hit record store shelves on November 24 via Rhino Records.

Fans will have several options when it comes time to purchase Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll. It will come in a 5-LP set or a 3-CD set. Additionally, a scaled-back 12-track vinyl release will also be available. No matter which version fans buy, they’ll get to read the foreword penned by Turner’s longtime friend and collaborator, Bryan Adams, according to Pitchfork.

“From obscurity to the stages of the UK and Europe, I credit Tina for changing the course of my life,” Adams wrote in the foreword. “I’m so grateful to have had some of her precious time. She was a force of nature, no one had her energy or her voice. I suppose it’s fitting to say, it’s only love, and that’s all.”

The 55-track collection kicks off with Turner’s first single, a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” from her sophomore solo release Acid Queen. It ends with a new version of “Something Beautiful Remains” reworked by Turner’s longtime collaborator Terry Britten and retitled “Something Beautiful.”

Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll will feature live cuts of some of Turner’s biggest hits as well as collaborations with some of Turner’s fellow musical icons. Those collaborators include Adams, David Bowie, and Rod Stewart.
