DJ Fat Tony Says He Is “Gutted” To Reschedule Show

Taking to Instagram Saturday (Dec. 14), DJ Fat Tony informed fans that he had rescheduled a planned show at London’s No90 Bar for Jan. 25.

His eyelids purple and swollen, the 59-year-old DJ said that another DJ had attacked him the night before during a gig at the Lido Leisure Centre in Margate.

“It resulted in me being knocked out and taken to hospital and being in A&E all night,” he said in the video. “Obviously you can see the damage to my face and the swelling—it’s not good.”

“I’m gutted that people choose violence, especially when what we do comes from a place of love,” he said.

Kent police confirmed to the Standard that they are investigating the incident. However, they had made no arrests as of Monday (Dec. 16) afternoon.
