States like North Carolina continue to rebuild after Hurricane Helene ripped through the area just a few weeks ago. While crews work around the clock, the state announced that nearly 100 people were killed during the hurricane. Sadly, that number is expected to climb as relief efforts continue. Wanting to give back and help those in need, Eric Church teamed up with Luke Combs for the Concert for Carolina show. The benefit concert focused on raising money for those impacted by the hurricane. And while the concert featured numerous stars, fans received a special duet when Sheryl Crow took the stage for โPicture.โ
Throughout the benefit concert, fans watched as stars like Keith Urban, Scotty McCreery, and even Chase Rice took the stage in support of North Carolina. But when it came time for Church to take the stage, he decided to share the spotlight with Crow. And fans couldnโt get enough of their duet of โPicture.โย

Originally released in 2001 by Kid Rock, Crow offered Church praise when listening to him sing. She said, โHey, weโre pretty good.โย
Eric Church Looking To Rebuild North Carolina One Home At A Time
Although helping put the benefit concert together, Church hoped to do more than just perform on stage. The singer announced his plans for the project A Blueprint for the Blue Ridge. The plan looked to build 100 new homes for those who lost everything during the hurricane.
Discussing his goals for the program, Church explained, โAny time a community needs help, itโs always the community next door that comes running to help. And there are no communities next door. Theyโve all been devastated. So weโve made it our mission at Chief Cares that weโre going to be the community next doorโฆโ He continued, โWeโre going to go and keep those people in their community, put a roof over their head, let โem interact with their community, let โem be a part of their community, and let โem help rebuild the community.โย
While Church aimed to build 100 homes, he also wanted to help rebuild the communities. โIt goes way beyond 100 homes. I hope itโs a lot of homes. A lot more than 100 homes. I hope itโs about building the businesses and building the community back. Thatโs what weโre committing to at Chief Cares, and we would love your help.โ
