A chance meeting with Florida Georgia Line at a 2012 party has paid enormous dividends for HARDY. The Mississippi-born artist, 34, has contributed lyrics to country music gems such as Morgan Wallen’s “Sand in My Boots” and Blake Shelton’s “God’s Country.” However, HARDY has also proven his all-around artistry on solo albums like The Mockingbird and the Crow, which topped the country music charts in early 2023. Today, the “Wait in the Truck” singer officially announced his latest solo endeavor.

HARDY Will Drop New Album This Fall
Taking to social media Wednesday (July 30), HARDY announced that his fourth studio album will hit the airwaves on Sept. 26. And lest you think the ACM Award-winning songwriter has strayed too far from his roots, he has named his latest project COUNTRY! COUNTRY!
Fans can pre-save the new album now on their preferred streaming platform. Or they can wait for a taste of what’s to come when HARDY’S latest song, “Bottomland,” drops Friday, Aug. 1.
The chart-topping artist offered fans a taste of the album on Monday, July 28, sharing a snippet of “Bottomland” with his social media followers.
Recent Music Is “Just an Appetizer”
The full-length album seems to build on HARDY’s latest EP, Country!, which dropped in May 2025 with the songs “Favorite Country Song, “”Buck on the Wall,” “Car That Drove You Away,” “Girl With A Gun,” and “Luckiest Man Alive.”
The “Psycho” crooner teased “a big ol’ album” alongside the EP’s release earlier this year, and it looks like this is it.
“DEPRESSION CURED,” declared one Instagram user on HARDY’s Instagram post.
Despite its title, the “Rockstar” singer told Music Mayhem that COUNTRY! COUNTRY! doesn’t necessarily toe genre lines.
There’s just a little bit of everything, and that’s obviously kind of who I am as a whole,” HARDY explained of his recent EP. “But it’s just a really good little appetizer for the record. And that’s pretty much how I wanted it.”
“I didn’t want to overstack it with too [much] country or too [much] rock or anything like that,” he added. “I was just like, ‘Okay. This little thing here is what the whole album sounds like.’ So that selection process was definitely something I thought about.”
