Kid Rock Shocked Young Fan by Giving Him His Saxophone: “Have Fun Tonight”

When it comes to concerts, most singers tend to pick a big city like Atlanta, Tampa, or Nashville to put on a show. It made sense given that the city provided venues with enough seats to fit thousands. But for Kid Rock and his Rock the Country Festival, the singer looked to bring his big show to small towns across the United States. And throughout his festival, he will travel to 10 small towns with acts like Big & Rich and Lee Greenwood. But at a recent concert, Kid Rock shocked a young fan when he gifted him his saxophone.

On June 21st, Kid Rock pulled into Little Rock, Arkansas for the latest concert when he noticed a young fan in the front row. While not uncommon for kids to attend concerts, a Kid Rock show might not be the best place for children. Yet, with his parents by his side, even the country singer said, “Eight years old. Is that your mama and daddy? And he let you come to a Kid Rock show?”

Somewhat stunned by the young fan, Kid Rock decided to make his night when he handed him his saxophone. As for the boy’s parents, the singer insisted, “That must be the coolest daddy on Earth. I see you down there, have fun tonight.”

Thanks to Country Cast, a picture of the star handing the instrument to the fans made its rounds on the internet, showing a few people in the crowd carefully handling the sax.

Kid Rock Loves Giving Away His Saxophones

While not the first singer to offer a gift to a fan, Kid Rock seemed to like the idea of giving away his saxophone. Just last year, a video circulated of the singer handing the instrument to another fan, who also happened to be a little young for a Kid Rock concert.

And showing why most fans who attend his concert are a little older, the country star quickly jumped into his song “Bad Reputation”, which surrounded what happened when he “met a girl.”

But no matter the year or venue, fans all said the same when it came to his concert.

“That concert was the best concert I’ve ever been to.”

“I loved this concert.”

“I was there and cried like a baby.”

“He was the best for sure! Such a great time.”
