Lauren Alaina Receives Influx of Well Wishes From Country Legends

Ruling season 10 of American Idol alongside fellow country singer Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina found herself onstage on finale night. Although host Ryan Seacrest ultimately called McCreery’s name, the Rossville, Georgia native proved she was here to stay with her 2017 chart-topper “The Road Less Traveled.” On June 11, Alaina celebrated a more personal milestone when she and husband Cam Arnold welcomed their daughter, Beni Doll Arnold. And the two-time CMA Award nominee is feeling the love from some of country music’s A-listers.

Alaina announced her daughter’s birth in a social media post Friday (June 13.) Almost immediately, well wishes began rolling in from some familiar names.

“Oh my gosh!!! She’s perfect!! Congratulations,” wrote five-time ACM Award winner Ella Langley.

Added four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Martina McBride, “Congratulations! I am so happy for you both. Your world is forever changed for the better.”

“Welcome to the world little one,” Ashley McBryde commented. “We can’t wait to watch you grow !”

“She can’t wait to meet aunt Ashley,” Lauren Alaina responded.

Other country stars, including Carly Pearce, Miranda Lambert and Colt Ford, also offered up messages of congratulations.

Lauren Alaina Released a New Song For Her Daughter

In addition to sharing the delightful news about becoming a first-time mom, Lauren Alaina also had something for her fans. She released a brand-new song, “Heaven Sent,” in honor of her daughter’s birth.

“We learned she was coming in a time of deep sadness after the loss of my daddy. I wasn’t sure when I would share Heaven Sent but watching my own husband become a father the last couple of days has made me want to share it with you now,” wrote the “Like My Mother Does” singer, 30. “She came just before Father’s Day. My first without my own father. A day that will forever be hard to me, but I now have a new and perfect reason to celebrate it. Beni’s daddy. My sweet and steady husband. Beni truly is a gift from God that my old man sitting up there in Heaven Sent.”

Announcing her pregnancy in January, Alaina told People, “[I didn’t know] I can love something that I haven’t even really held yet. I feel the baby inside me, and it’s kicking me and doing all of the things. It’s like I was the Grinch or something, and my heart grew.”
