2024 was a huge year for Muscadine Bloodline. They released their fourth studio album in the summer and sent “10-90” to country radio, giving Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton their radio debut. Additionally, they paused their Coastal Plain Tour to join Post Malone on the F-1 Trillion Tour as direct support. It looks like they’re carrying that momentum into the new year.
They’re currently on their postponed Coastal Plain Tour, rocking crowds and selling out venues across the United States. Additionally, they’ve already given fans a pair of samples of what’s to come with “The High Horse vs. The White Horse” and “Ain’t for Sale.” The latter has already garnered more than a million streams.

How Muscadine Bloodline Found Their Identity
Muscadine Bloodline’s debut album saw the duo chasing Nashville trends and doing what industry professionals and insiders told them they “should” be doing. After taking stock of what they were doing, they released Dispatch to 16th Ave. in 2022, with a brand-new sound that was a blend of modern Americana and ‘90s country. Since then, the band has continued to evolve, stripping away layers and becoming more authentic.
Last year, ahead of the release of The Coastal Plain, Muscadine Bloodline sat down with American Songwriter to discuss their progression and what they planned to do moving forward.
“These last few records have been pretty much Charlie and I writing,” Gary Stanton said. “We’re producing the albums and our tour band is playing in the studio with us and we’re going back to the first person we did music with when we came to town with Ryan Youmans,” he added.
The same is true for the upcoming album. Muncaster and Stanton co-produced the record with Youmans.
“We’re just trying to world build, essentially in these records,” Stanton explained. “So, it’s like, take the listener to a place. This record is a book,” he added. If Coastal Plain was a book, …And What Was Left Behind will be its sequel, set in the same place with new stories.
