Listening to John Mark Nelson, it’s easy to forget that the singer-songwriter is only 21. His thoughtful songwriting and meticulousĀ arrangements have earned him fans like Tramples By Turtles’ Dave Simonett, who signed the Minneapolis artist to his own label Gndwire Records.

We’re happy to premiere “I’ll Give You More,” off Nelson’s upcoming third album I’m Not Afraid, out September 11. Nelson recorded the album with Jacob Hanson at The Library Recording Studio in Minneapolis. The 10-song collection is more rhythm-driven than his previous two, a change Nelson calls “the first sentences of a new artistic chapter.”
