Take a listen to the gorgeous, percolating folk of “Unwise” from Brooklyn musician Josh Mease, a.k.a. Lapland. The song hails from the album Lapland, out March 26 on Hundred Pocket Records.
“‘Unwise’ came about after an unexpected interaction between my old synthesizer and a delay pedal,” says Mease, a former jazz artist. “The sound inspired me to write the song in about fifteen minutes, and I just happened to have everything plugged in to my trusty four-track. Definitely one of the most fun moments I had working on Lapland.”
