Straight out of El Paso, Texas, The Dirty River Boys create their own kind of “outlaw folk” with their new single “Desert Wind.” A mixture of country, folk and rock and roll, “Desert Wind” shines with lyrics about love and perseverance, with the singer pitted against the symbolic forces of nature.

“We’ve had this song in the live arsenal for quite some time now,” the band’s frontman Nino Cooper tells us. “We’re glad to revive it with a good little helping of rock and roll.  It’s an honor to have it debut with American Songwriter.”
