We’re excited to debut the video for “Everything Is Broken,” a song that originally appears on Bob Dylan’s 1989 Oh Mercyalbum.
“I agree with Otis Redding that Bob Dylan, although a great writer, writes too many words to have to remember,” LaVette tells American Songwriter. “So I just took the ones I liked from this tune and sung ’em ’cause I like the rhythm and it’s fun to sing. Oh, and I don’t believe that EVERYTHING is broken.”
