Art lovers, you’re in luck: the video for “Drawing Board,” the first single by folk/ambient group Brother & Co., is right up your alley. It was created by artist Nathaniel Broersma and features colorful stop-motion and flip-book animation, as well as some sculpture. “Inspiration for the piece came from Brother & Co.’s wrenching lyrics and original music, which reflect the determination and resilience of the human heart burning in the darkness — hence the heart images interspersed throughout the piece in a variety of mediums,” says Broersma.

“Drawing Board” will be available on iTunes November 12, while Brother & Co.’s debut album Unknow You is set for release in December. In the meantime, check out the “Drawing Board” video below.
