The Artist: Rockabilly Hall of Famer Buzz Cason — a country stalwart whose songs have been covered by The Beatles, Pearl Jam and U2.
The Video: “Troubadour Heart” is the title track of the Buzz Cason’s new studio album, out now on Plowboy Records.
Fun Fact: Muscle Shoals songwriting vet Dan Penn and Rolling Stones sax player Bobby Keys guest on the album.
Songwriter Says: “This song started out while I was driving from Nashville to Memphis. It evolved from a humorous tune into a more serious song about my fellow road warriors. Anthony Crawford’s banjo lick gives it a nice lift along with Colin Whinnery’s smooth guitar licks and Steve Conn’s accordion.”
