Fans of Drive-By Truckers and Lucero should check out “If My Heart Don’t Fail Me,” the latest video from Georgia’s most recent southern rock sensation, efren. The song hails from their new album, Write a New Song.

“‘If My Heart Don’t Fail Me’ has emphatically become our newest anthem to go along with our grunge country sound,” says singer Scott Low. “I was writing all these trippy super metaphorical folk songs and wanted to turn a corner to more boot stomping rock anthems. Gimme three chords, a bottle and a fun hook. So we then grabbed a camera, a bottle and fired up the smoker and made this fun video of how I live in the North Georgia hills.”
