The Artist: Self-described Bluntry (Blues + Country) artist Grace Askew
The Video: “Cinnamon” from the album Scaredy Cat, out August 11.
Fun Fact: Askew was a contestant on season 4 of NBC’s The Voice. Her coach, Blake Shelton, was impressed by her cool Memphis style and ‘Bluntry’ twang, so he kept her in the running until the knockout rounds just before the live shows.
Songwriter Says: “A song for the ‘sistuhs’ about wanting what you can’t have, because that’s always going to be more enticing. Raunchy, raw, and janky once again.”

Grace Askew Tour Dates:

August 1 – Nashville, TN – Soulshine
August 7 – San Francisco, CA – 50 Mason Social Club
August 9 – Los Angeles, CA – Hotel Café
August 10 – Los Angeles, CA – Silverlake Lounge
