Americana trio Josiah & the Bonnevilles released a killer ep, Cold Blood, last month, and now they’re following up with a live video performance of the title track. Recorded at Big Fish Studios in San Diego, CA, the song is an ode to the confusion that can come around when you’re not sure you’re on the right track with your life.
“I wrote the song “Cold Blood” when I was living between Vegas on my own and in LA with my ex,” says singer/guitarist Josiah. “It was not an easy one to write and it went through many, many versions. I’m not sure if it’s a break up song or a song about being a failure, or a fraud. I guess it’s a mix of all those things. That narrator feels the same throughout most of the new album, which the Cold Blood EP is only a portion of.”
