Video Premiere: The Sheepdogs, “Cotton Fields”

VH_SHEEPDOGS_FILM_0030Bluesy, ’70s-inspired rock band The Sheepdogs dropped their fifth album, Future Nostalgia, in October. Now touring the U.S. in support of the record, the band recorded a video of themselves performing a cover of Lead Belly’s “Cotton Fields” live from their dressing room.

“We needed a song we all knew to sing as a warm up before hitting the stage,” the band said. “Originally a Lead Belly song, we do it more a la Creedence Clearwater Revival, who are heroes to us all.”
