The Black Angels Prep New Album, Release Anti-Greed Anthem “Currency”

Austin-based psychedelic rock outfit the Black Angels return this spring with a new album — Death Song — via Partisan Records.

The band released the track “Currency” earlier today. Death Song features 11 songs, most of them recorded during the 2016 election season, which inspired hints of protest in some of the album’s tracks.

The group will tour extensively in the United States in support of the record.
