While known for hit songs like ‘Whiskey Lullaby”, “She’s Everything”, and “Remind Me”, Brad Paisley charted over 50 singles. Throughout his time in country music, he also worked alongside stars like Keith Urban, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, and even Alison Krauss. Although loving his time in country music, the singer also expanded his family when he married actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley. Marrying in 2003, Kimberly recently discussed her marriage with Paisley and the unique gift she received from him when she lost her voice.

Back in 2022, Kimberly attended an Alzheimer’s Association event as the host. During her time on stage, she appeared to lose her voice. While not the first person to lose their voice, Kimberly learned that she partially paralyzed her vocal cords. Having to undergo surgery to correct the issue, the actress recalled spending months only able to whisper. Remember some of the challenges she faced, she told People, “It was really hard because she would yell upstairs, ‘Hey, boys, come downstairs, dinner’s ready.’”
Not wanting her to strain her voice, Paisley found the perfect Christmas gift for his wife when he gifted her a pink megaphone. “It was one of the kindest things Brad did for me — it was really hilarious and so necessary. I started using it immediately. He is so good at keeping me laughing.”
Brad Paisley Not The Only One Willing To Help Out
Although surrounding her with love and support, her children Huck, 17, and Jasper, 15, were always willing to help her out. “It was so tiring for me to talk on the phone, so my kids or Brad would talk for me. My kids were great cheerleaders for me. At an event, they knew if someone I wanted to talk to was walking away and I couldn’t get them, and they’d get them for me. They’re used to assisting me, which is really sweet.”
Thankfully, Kimberly found her voice once again after undergoing surgery in August. And according to Paisley, his wife never remotely gave up. “This is somebody who lives to talk with people. And she wouldn’t want to.” He added, “Seeing her fight to figure it out was amazing. There was never a moment where she was just going to give up. It was inspiring.”
